专利说明:
[0001] This invention relates to a papercraft display. [0002] There are various types of prior art commercial displays obtained from blanks made of papercraft material, such as, for example, card or corrugated cardboard. [0003] These displays can have different shapes, depending on the type of goods or products to be supported. In particular, there are various displays on the market for supporting goods with large dimensions, or, alternatively, for supporting a large number of elements to be displayed, which require deeper shelves. [0004] The shelves must, however, be adequately reinforced. An example of reinforcement consists in special flaps present on the side edges of each shelf which couple with the side walls of the display, for example inserting in special eyelets in the side walls of the display. This prevents said shelves from making contact with and breaking or, more frequently, bending towards the bottom of the central portion of the shelves, due to the weight of the goods to be supported. [0005] Alternatively, these shelves can be supported by transversal reinforcement elements, such as, for example, metal rods, or rods made of papercraft material. [0006] However, both the solutions present difficulties in the assembly of the displays, since both the insertion of flaps of the shelves inside special eyelets and the insertion of transversal reinforcement rods beneath the shelves must be carried out during assembly, with movements which may be complex for an operator. [0007] The aim of the invention is to provide an alternative form of displays made from blanks, comprising deep reinforced shelves, which are simple to assemble.A further aim of the invention is that said displays are made completely from recyclable material. [0008] Finally, an aim of the invention is that said blanks are easy to make and economical. [0009] The object of the invention is therefore a papercraft display for displaying products, said display comprising a rear wall, two side walls and at least one shelf, said at least one shelf comprising two side edges. [0010] In particular, said display is characterised in that it comprises a strut in at each side wall, each strut comprising a longitudinal body having at least one protrusion, a protrusion being provided for each shelf of the display. [0011] Moreover, said at least one shelf comprises an indentation at each side edge, and said at least one shelf is configured: to be inserted between said walls of said display so that said longitudinal body of each strut is inserted in the respective indentation of each shelf, and to be supported, abutting below, by the respective protrusion of each strut at its side edges. [0012] According to a preferred embodiment, said protrusions of said strut can have a substantially rectangular triangle shape, wherein the right angle is arranged so as to be at said longitudinal body and the respective shelf. [0013] Moreover, preferably, said longitudinal can have a depth of between 20 mm and 60 mm and said protrusions can have a maximum depth of between 45 mm and 95 mm. [0014] Further, said indentations of said at least one shelf can have greater or equal dimensions than the depth of said longitudinal body, and lesser than the depth of the portion of each protrusion abutting the respective shelf. [0015] According to a further preferred embodiment, said rear wall of said display can comprise an eyelet at each shelf, and each shelf can comprise at least one rear flap configured for inserted in said eyelet, so a to fix said at least one shelf on said rear wall. [0016] Moreover, each side wall can comprise at least one inner support at the inner face of the rear portion of each side wall, said at least one shelf being configured for being supported, abutting below, by the respective at least one inner support. [0017] Preferably, at each inner corner between said rear wall and said side walls there can be an angular support for each shelf, so as to have a pair of angular supports for each shelf, each pair of angular supports being arranged at the same height as said protrusions, and, if necessary, as said at least one inner support, so that said at least one shelf is further supported, abutting below, by a respective pair of angular supports. In particular, each angular support can preferably be a continuous surface of the rear wall and of the respective side wall, each angular support protruding inside it, said continuous surface being made on said rear wall and on said respective side wall by means of cuts. [0018] According to a further preferred embodiment, each strut can be formed by two contoured portions of respective blanks coupled together, preferably by gluing. [0019] In particular, said rear wall, a rear portion of each of said side walls, and a first contoured portion of said struts can be formed from a single first blank, anda front portion of said side walls and a second contoured portion of said struts can be formed by at least a second blank. [0020] Preferably, said display can in fact comprise a front wall, and said second contoured portion of said struts, said front portion of said side walls, and said front wall can be formed by a single second blank. [0021] Moreover, a further object of the invention is a set of blanks for the assembly of a display, comprising: a first blank adapted to form said rear wall, a rear portion of each of said side walls, and said first contoured portion of said struts; a second blank adapted to form said rear portion of each side wall and said second contoured portion of said struts; said first blank being divided by a pair of first central folding lines and a pair of first side folding lines, parallel to each other, forming: a first central surface comprised within said pair of central folding lines, and adapted to form said rear wall of said display; two respective first side surfaces, each comprised between a respective first central folding line and a respective first side folding line, and adapted to form said rear portions of the side walls; and said two respective first contoured portions, each first contoured portion being adjacent to a respective first side surface and divided from it by a first side folding line; said second blank being divided by two pairs of folding lines, respectively one pair of second central folding lines and one pair of second side folding lines, parallel to each other, forming: a second central surface, fenestrated, comprised within said pair of second central folding lines and comprising at least one opening, said central surface being adapted to form said front wall; two respective second side surfaces, each comprised between a respective first central folding line and a respective second side folding line, and adapted to form said front portions of the side walls; and said two respective contoured surfaces, each being adjacent to a respective second side surface and being divided from it by a respective second side folding line; in such a way that, when said blanks are coupled to assemble said display, said folding lines are folded with a valley-fold with respect to a respective inner face of each first and second blank and said first contoured surfaces are coupled with the respective second contoured surfaces so as to form said struts of said display. [0022] In particular, according to a preferred embodiment of said set of blanks:said second blank can comprise at least one pair of side flaps, each side divided by an inner folding line on a respective second side surface close to a respective opening, said second blank being able to be configured in such a way that when said set of blanks is assembled, folding with a valley-fold said second blank with respect to said inner face along said inner folding line and coupling each side flap to the inner face of the respective second side surface said inner supports are formed. [0023] According to a further preferred embodiment of said set of blanks, at each first central folding line of said first blank, at least one pair of transversal cuts can be made, said cuts being transversally oriented to said first central folding lines. [0024] Said cuts can therefore define a foldable portion, comprising a portion of said first central surface and a portion of a respective first side surface. [0025] In particular, said foldable portion can comprise three folding lines, of whicha median folding line substantially collinear with the respective central folding line, andtwo perimetral folding lines, one for each surface, said perimetral folding lines being substantially parallel to said median folding lineso that, when said blanks are coupled to form said display, by folding said foldable portion with a mountain-fold with respect to said inner face along said median folding line and with a valley-fold with respect to said inner face along said perimetral folding lines, said angular supports are formed. [0026] The invention is now described, by way of example and without limiting the scope of the invention, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a display according to the invention; Figure 2 shows a detailed perspective view of a shelf of the display of Figure 1; Figure 3 shows a perspective view of a detail of the display of Figure 1, during an assembly step;Figure 3b shows a perspective view of the detail of Figure 3a, after assembly; Figure 4 shows a front view of a first blank for making the rear portion of the display of Figure 1; Figure 5 shows a front view of a second blank for making the front portion of the display of Figure 1; and Figure 6 shows a front view of a further blank for making a shelf of the display of Figure 1. [0027] Figures 1 - 3 show the display according to the invention denoted by the reference numeral 1. According to the embodiment shown in the drawings, said display 1 comprises a rear wall 2, two side walls 4 and four shelves 5. In particular, each side wall 4 is adjacent to the rear wall 2 at a respective inner corner 16. Moreover, said display 1 comprises a front portion formed by a front surface 3 fenestrated, in particular comprising three openings 19 in so that each shelf 5 can be alternatively positioned inside a respective opening 19 or in the upper portion of said display 1 above said front surface 3. [0028] Each shelf 5 comprises two side edges 6 and a rear edge 20, when each shelf 5 is positioned in said display 1, said side edges 6 are positioned close to said side walls 4, in particular in contact with them, and said rear edge 20 is positioned close to said rear wall 2, in particular in contact with it. [0029] According to alternative embodiments, the display 1 can have a different number of shelves 5 and a different number of openings 19. [0030] Said display 1 also comprises two vertical struts 7, one per side wall 4, which protrude from the respective side wall 4 towards the inside of said display 1. In particular, each strut 7 comprises a longitudinal 8, with a depth of between 20 mm and 60 mm, and a protrusion 9 for each shelf 5, with a depth of between 45 mm and 95 mm. [0031] Each strut 7 divides the respective side wall 4 into a rear portion 4', from said rear wall 2 to said strut 7, and a front portion 4" from said struct 7 to said front surface 3. [0032] In the particular embodiment shown in Figures 1 - 3, said struts 7 are positioned substantially a the centre of the respective side wall 4, said rear portion 4' having substantially the same extension as said front portion 4". [0033] Again according to the preferred embodiment shown in Figures 1 - 6, each strut 7 can be assembled by gluing a first contoured portion 7' formed from a first blank 100 to a second contoured portion 7" formed from a second blank 101, wherein said first contoured portion 7' has the same profile as said second contoured portion 7". [0034] In this way, advantageously, two resistant struts 7 are obtained, since the collapse of each strut 7 towards a portion 4', 4" of said side walls 4 is prevented. [0035] Each shelf 5 comprises an indentation 10 on each side edge 6, located at a respective strut 7 and directed towards the inside of said shelf 5. [0036] Each indentation 10 preferably has a dimension greater than or equal to the depth of said longitudinal bodies 8 and less than the depth of said protrusions 9. In this way, said shelves 5 can be easily inserted inside said walls 4, 2 after the body 8 of the respective strut 7 has been inserted inside the respective indentation 10 of each shelf 5, so that each shelf 5 s advantageously supported beneath by the respective pair of protrusions 9, at its side edges 6, abutting against said protrusions 9. [0037] Specifically, said protrusions 9 substantially have a rectangular triangle shape, having the right angle at said longitudinal body 8 and the respective shelf 5. [0038] The specific shape of said protrusions 9 has the dual advantage of obtaining a good support using the least quantity of material possible and not occupying the display space for the goods or products of any underlying shelf. [0039] Moreover, the struts 7, that is, the supports of said shelves 5, can be advantageously made of the same material as the display 1, such as recyclable papercraft material, such as, for example, corrugated cardboard. [0040] Each shelf 5 can be further supported below bot at said rear wall 2 and at said front surfaces 3. [0041] In fact, at each inner corner 16 positioned between side walls 4 and said rear wall 2 there are four angular supports 11, that is, an angular support 11 for each shelf 5. [0042] Each angular support 11 is positioned at the same height as a respective protrusion 9 of said strut and comprises a continuous surface of which a portion is in common with said rear wall 2 and a portion is in common with the respective side wall 4. [0043] Said continuous surface is in fact made from said rear wall and from said respective side wall by means of cuts, which in the particular embodiment shown in Figures 1 - 8 are substantially semi-circular in shape, so as to create a pair of angular supports 11 for each shelf 5, which supports beneath said shelf 5, abutting against it close to the rear wall 2 of said display 1. [0044] In this way, said angular supports 11, advantageously reinforce the support of the respective shelves 5. [0045] Further, each shelf 5 can comprise at least one rear flap 13 inserted inside a specific eyelet 12 of said rear wall 2, so as to further favour the support of said shelf 5 close to the rear wall 2 of said display, said eyelet 12 being positioned substantially at the same height as a respective pair of protrusions 9. [0046] Advantageously, said coupling between eyelet 12 and respective rear flap 13 allows the shelf 5 to be secured during assembly, thus facilitating it. [0047] Lastly, each shelf 5 is supported below close to said front surfaces 3 of said display 1, since each side wall 4 can comprise a front flap 14, located at a respective protrusion 9 and which protrudes rom said display 1, supporting said shelf 5 below, abutting against it. [0048] According to a preferred embodiment, at least one shelf 5 can have a dimension greater than the dimension of said side walls 4, in such a way as to protrude partially in front of said side walls 4 when said display 1 is assembled and be able to accommodate a greater number of products to be displayed. Said protruding portion of said at least one shelf 5 can therefore advantageously be supported beneath by said side flaps 14, said side flaps 14 being able to protrude with respect to said side walls 4. [0049] Moreover, each shelf 5 can comprise a faceplate 15, said faceplate 15 being glued on the respective front surface portion 3 of said display 1. [0050] In this way, advantageously, there is a display 1 in which shelves 5 are supported beneath in several points, thus obtaining reinforced shelves, which can also be deep, the reinforcements of which are all made of the same material as the display, for example corrugated cardboard, and therefore completely recyclable. [0051] Figures 4 - 6 show a set of three blanks starting from which said display 1 can be obtained. [0052] In particular, said three blanks are respectively: a first blank 100, adapted to form said rear wall 2, said rear portion 4' of each of said side walls 4, and said first contoured portion 7' of said strut 7; a second blank 101, adapted to form a second contoured portion 7" of each strut 7, said fron tportion 4" of each of said side walls 4, and said front surfaces 3; anda third blank 105 for each shelf 5. [0053] In particular, said first blank 100 comprises four folding lines 116, 117, in particular crease lines, and two contoured side edges 118. Said contoured side edges 118 forming four protrusions 109' each, so as to form four pairs of protrusions 109', one for each shelf 5 which will be inserted in said display 1. In the embodiment shown in Figures 4 - 5 said protrusions 109' have substantially a rectangular triangle shape with a right angle and facing upwards. [0054] In particular, said crease lines 116, 117 are formed by a pair of first central crease lines 116 and a pair of first side crease lines 117 so as to divide said first blank 100 in five surfaces, of which:a first central surface 102 comprised within said pair of first central crease lines 116, adapted to become said rear wall 2;two respective first side surfaces 104', comprised between one of said first central crease lines 116 and a respective first side crease line 117, and adapted become said rear portions 4' of the side walls 4; andtwo respective first contoured portions 107', comprised between a respective first side crease line 117 and a contoured side edge 118, adapted become said first contoured portions 7' of said struts 7. [0055] Said second blank 101 in turn comprises two pairs of folding lines 120, 121, preferably crease lines, and two side contoured edges 122 delimiting four protrusions 109" each, so as to form four pairs of protrusions 109", one for each shelf 5 which will be inserted in said display 1, said side contoured edges 122 preferably having the same profile as the side contoured edges 118 of said first blank 100. In particular, said two pairs of crease lines 120, 121 are respectively a pair of second central crease lines 120 and a pair of second side crease lines 121, and divide said blank 101 in eight surface, of which:a second central surface 103, fenestrated, that is, comprising three openings 119, adapted to become said front surfaces 3, said central surfaces 103 being within said pair of second central crease lines 120;two respective second side surfaces 104", comprised between one of said second central crease lines 120 and a respective second side crease line 121, and adapted to become said front portions 4" of the side walls 4; andtwo respective second contoured portions 107", comprised between a respective second side crease line 121 and a contoured side end 122, adapted to become said second contoured portions 7" of said struts 7. [0056] During the assembly of said display 1, all the crease lines of said first blank 100 and second blank 101 are folded with a valley-fold with respect to respective inner faces 100', 101', said contoured portions 107', 107" forming a substantially orthogonal angle with the respective side surface 104', 104", so that each contoured portion 107' of said first blank 100 can be coupled with a respective contoured portion 107" of said second blank 101, or example by gluing, so as to form said two struts 7. [0057] In this way, advantageously, said display 1 is easy to assemble, as a limited number of blanks 100, 101, 105 is used, and as the coupling of said contoured portions 107', 107" is easy to achieve, since said contoured portions 107', 107" which can be glued are easily accessible. [0058] Lastly, said third blank 105 can be formed from a single surface comprisin two respective edges 152 with cuts 110, adapted to form said indentations 10, said two edges 152 being parallel to each other. [0059] However, preferably, as shown in Figure 6, said third blank 105 can comprise two surfaces 150 which can be superposed, divided by a respective folding line 151, each comprising said cuts 110, and comprises, at a further edge 153 of one said two superposable surfaces, substantially orthogonal to at least one edge 152 comprising said cuts 110, a front portion 115, adapted to form said faceplate 15. Moreover, at said folding line 151 there can be a contoured flap 113, adapted to form said rear flap 13, in so that each shelf 5 can be formed folding on itself said folding line 151, that is to say, superposing said two superposable surfaces 152, and in such a way that said shelf 5 can be inserted in said display 1. [0060] In the case in example, four third blanks 105 will be used to form four respective shelves 5, wherein said front portion 115 of each third blank will be coupled, for example by gluing, to a respective central surface 103 of said second blank 101. [0061] According to alternative embodiments of said display 1, for example in the case of displays having a number of shelves 5 different from four but greater than or equal to one, said first and second blank 100, 101 can have a number of protrusions 109 different from four, but equal to the number of shelves of said display, and said second blank can have a number of openings different from three, but sufficient to allow the insertion of each shelf 5 inside the display 1. [0062] With reference to Figure 4 it should also be noted that at each first central crease line 116 of said first blank 100 there is at least one pair of cuts 111, the number of pairs of cuts 111 depending on the number of shelves 5 of the display 1. In particular, each pair of cuts 111 comprises two cuts 111 which cut part of said first central surface and part of the respective first side surface, said two cuts being substantially the mirror-image of each other with respect to a horizontal line of said first blank 100. For example, according to the preferred embodiment shown in Figure 4 said cuts have a substantially semi-circular shape. [0063] The foldable portion 111' delimited by said two cuts 111 is adapted to form said angular supports 11 when said display 1 is assembled. [0064] In particular, in order to facilitate the formation of each angular support 11, each foldable portion 111' can comprise a median folding line 116' substantially collinear with the respective first central crease line 116, but adapted to be folded upstream with respect to said face 100' of the blank 100 during the assembly of said display 1. Moreover, said foldable portions 111' can comprise two perimetral folding lines 123, one perimetral folding line 123 for each wall 102, 104', said perimetral folding lines 123 being substantially parallel to said median folding line 116', as it is perimetral to said foldable portion 111', and being adapted to be folded downstream with respect to said face 100' of said blank 100 when said display 1 is assembled. [0065] Lastly, with reference to Figures 2, 5 and 6, it should be noted that: each second side surface 104" of said second blank 101 comprises a side flap 114 at each opening 119, said side flaps 114 protruding towards said opening 119 and being divided by the respective second side surface 104" by an inner folding line 125, in such a way that, when said display 1 is assembled, said side flaps 114 of said second blank are folded with a valley-fold with respect to said inner face 101' forming said front flaps 14, for supporting beneath the portions of said shelves 5 on the front part of said display. [0066] The preferred embodiments have been described above and variants to the invention have been suggested, but it shall be understood that the invention may be modified and/or adapted by experts in the field without thereby departing from the scope of the inventive concept, as defined in the claims herein.
